Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were comparably heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance.
Since its launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super stems from the year 1976, featuring the fork crown with Colnago added to the cubs on top and for the shorter Campagnolo dropouts. The frame has been professionally refurbished in a vibrant green colour.
As for the components, you will find a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset. This has been further customized by different drilling and milling, so you can admire the precise 'drillium' chainring and brake levers or the milled seatpost and shifters. This is a high class bike and it's equipped accordingly with the 3ttt cockpit, San Marco wild leather seat, Nisi Countach rims or Benotto tape.
A stunning bicycle which won't disappoint any true Colnago lover. Eroica appropriate.
