Description
Colnago Super is an icon which helped to define how racing bicycles looked in 70s and 80s. The frame offered more stiffness, more aggressive geometry with shorter wheelbase and light weight.
Our bicycle stems from 1976, featuring the typical detail from that year - Colnago engraved on the fork crown alongside the ace of clubs, shorter Campagnolo dropouts or non-recessed brake bolts. However, this is where the "normality" ends. This Super is different. Very different.
We present you here the Colnago Super Oro. "Oro" means gold in Italian and you would find plenty on it. The chain stays, seat stays, head tube lugs and the complete fork have been gold plated. But it doesn't end there. Almost all parts you can think of are gold plated too and so the Campagnolo Super Record groupset, Colnago lightweight headset or 3ttt stem really shine with this noble metal.
And if that was still not enough, many parts have also been Colnago pantographed, even the hubs and pedals!
If you are looking for a classic Colnago bicycle which stands above the rest, this totally captivating and fairly opulent bicycle is the perfect choice.
