Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy with long wheelbases, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super dates back to 1979. It has everybody's favorite paintjob in Saronni red and looks magnificent. The bike is equipped with some of the best parts Campagnolo had to offer. To be precise, it is the Campagnolo Record groupset with Super Record shifting. The classic combination of the Super with Campagnolo components is vastly sought after for its appeal as well as its riding characteristics.
Some extras make this Colnago even more desirable: Check out the fine pantographs on stem, seatpost and crankset, as well as the milling on the brakes!
This Colnago Super is a great choice for vintage bike lovers. Suitable for any classic cycling event. And since it has been thoroughly checked in our workshop, it is, of course, ready to be ridden
