Description
Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This particular Colnago Super Road Bike stems from the late 1970s and it has been refurbished in the iconic "Sarroni" red color.
This bike is fully fitted with a mix of Campagnolo Super and Nuovo Record parts, as well as Ofmefa lightweight shifters. The whole package is then rounded with nice set of Ambrosio Supr Elité clincher rims and San Marco Supercorsa saddle.
Classic mid sized Colnago super from the end of 70s, painted in iconic Sarroni red. Great for a classic cycling event or just for a nice ride.
