Description
Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This particular Colnago Super in a typical "Saronni" red paintwork dates back to the 1980s.
Regarding the components, this Colnago Super is fully fitted with premium parts: a Campagnolo Super Record Gruppo, Colnago pantographed derailleur, Mavic rims, Cinelli cockpit and a San Marco saddle.
Iconic. Approved for Eroica events worldwide.
