Few bicycles have influenced the cycling industry as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super frame dates back to 1974 and sports a pearly orange paintjob. The bike is equipped fully equipped with Campagnolo Nuovo Record parts, including pantographs on chainring, stem, seatpost and brake levers!
It even comes with a branded pump!
The classic combination of the Super with Campagnolo components is vastly sought after for its appeal as well as its riding characteristics.
