Description

Few bicycles have influenced the cycling industry as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.

Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.

This Colngo Super dates back to the early 1980s and illustrates a very typical "Saronni red" paintwork in original condition – the same colour of the bicycles ridden by the great Giuseppe Saronni in the Colnago Del Tongo Team.

The bike is in original condition and is fully equipped with Campagnolo Super Record parts enriched with fine Colnago pantographed details.

The right bicycle to take part in Eroica events worldwide. An evergreen of the cycling history.
