Description

Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.

Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.

This particular Colnago Super Road Bike in a typical "Saronni" red paintwork dates back to 1980.

This bike is fully fitted with premium parts: a complete Campagnolo Super Record Gruppo. The setup is completed by a Colnago pantographed 3ttt stem and the bigger chainring. The whole package is then rounded with nice set of Mavic clincher rims and San Marco Supercorsa saddle.

Classic small sized Colnago super from the break of the 80s, painted in iconic Sarroni red and in top condition. What is not to like? Great for a classic cycling event or just for a nice ride.
