Description

The Colnago Super Sprint was one of the successors of the Colnago's classic Super model. In a time when his catalogue was already filled to the brim with profiled tubing and experiments with new materials, it was still a fact, that a good rider on a Colnago Super could ride nearly as well as on a Colnago Master.
So the Super underwent a bit of a renewal. The chainstays inherited the crimpless design of the older Mexico models, the brake cable was routed internally and the headlugs were chromed like on the earlier Master models.

One of those new Super-based models was the Colnago Super Sprint from 1989 and we are happy to be able to present one of them here.
The bike has been used as a display piece and has been ridden for two short test rides. Otherwise it was just stored away and thus is practically a new old stock exemplar. (ok, the saddle has been changed)
It comes in Colnago colour code c05 which is basically the Team Panasonic paint scheme. and is equipped with a beautiful Campagnolo Athena groupset.

If you ever lusted for a new 1980s bike, well, we now got you covered with this one.

A great catch and a captivating road bike!
