Description
Few bicycles have influenced the sports cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This particular Colnago Super dates back to the late 1980s - thus is one of the last Supers ever made - and is still in original condition.
The ultra fine grid paintjob with contrasting black head lugs looks really amazing. Beside the looks, the bike underwent a complete check and is working fine.
Regarding the components, this Colnago Super is fully fitted with premium parts: a rare SunTour Superbe (Pro) groupset.
Ready for the adventure. Made for serious sport - as the number holder proves.
