Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Superpantografata stems from the year 1975. It is a bit more special, as the name already indicates. It got so many pantographs and brandings that Colnago included this fact into its name. The bike is equipped with one of the best groupsets Campagnolo had to offer. To be precise, it has a Campagnolo Record groupset, including a Campagnolo Super Record 1st generation shifting! The classic combination of the Super with Campagnolo components is vastly sought after for its appeal as well as its riding characteristics. Early Colnago bikes in such complete and good condition are not easy to find so this adds to the bike's exceptionality
This Colnago Superpantografata is a great choice for vintage bike lovers. Suitable for any classic cycling event.
