Colnago Tange Prestige Competition Road Bike 1990s

The Elegant Road Bike began production in the early 1990s and saw huge success, with riders still choosing their Elegant Steel bikes as their top choice ride today, insisting the handling is 'like riding on a rail'.

This 1990s frame is made of high-end Tange Prestige Competitions tubes in various thickness and brazed at low temperature. Though Columbus was the usual choice for Colnago frames during the 1980s and 1990s, the price of the Yen and the quality production coming our of Japan in the early 1990s saw many Italian producers, including Colnago, opting for the stronger Tange Prestige Competition tubing . The fork has straight blades and is basically the famous Precisa model, first released in 1989. To match its chrome plating, the rear stays and typical three-point lugs are chromed, too.

Fitted out with a complete Campagnolo Chorus groupset in top condition, and a colourful paintjob typical of Colnago 1990s frames, sure to brighten any ride.
