Description
Specifically designed for advanced riders, the Colnago Tecnos was a significant development in bicycle technology for its lightness. Thanks to Columbus Nivacrome steel tubes with very typical crimped sections, this Colnago frame was in its day the lightest steel frame to leave the factory in Cavenago. Adding to its stiffness was the 'blown-up' section of the top and down tube. A feature known from British Cantiflex tubing before.
Being a Colnago, this bicycle is of course a heap of refined details such as chromed lugs, rear stays, Precisa fork and small pantographs.
The paint on this frame is still the original one and shows perfectly the famous Art Decor paintwork by Colnago.
This bike really is a fun ride and one of the most advanced steel steeds ever made by Colnago.
