Description
Cornelo is a Dutch brand founded back in the 1970s. The story tells, that one bicycle shop owner went to Italy and there bought several frames from no one else than certain Ernesto Colnago. The Italian frames were an instant success in Netherlands and so the owner decided to create a separate brand, named after his son Corné. To make it sound more Italian "LO" was simply added. The frames were at the start made by Colnago and later also by many other frame builders, but always in Italy. So we can truly say that these bikes have Italian soul and the "tricolore" flags are just.
Our Cornelo Profilo Classic Road Bicycle is one of very nice exemplars from the mid-80s. The tubes in the main triangle are profiled similar to Colnago Esa Mexico models. The whole frame is chrome plated and except of the top and down tube also covered with golden slightly translucent paintjob.
This elegant golden bike is then fully equipped with Campagnolo Victory groupset and with Cinelli cockpit, Nisi rims and brand new Rolls saddle.
