Description
Founded in 1882 in Sochaux, France, Peugeot is one of the oldest bicycle manufacturers in the world. Throughout their history, Peugeot produced all kinds of bikes ranging from town bikes to pure-bred racing machines.
This one is a tribute to the French rider Richard Viranque, the record 7-times winner of the polka dot jersey for the best climber of the Tour de France.
This Peugeot in team Festina color scheme is made of 5086 aluminium alloy tubes with oversized cross sections. As for the parts, it is equipped with a mix of Campagnolo Veloce, Mirage and Avanti components with 8-speed Ergopower shiftin on the bars.
This model referes to a fabulous climber and it makes totally sence. With it's triple chainring and lightest ratio of 30 x 26, it is very well suited to tackle even the most visious climbs with ease.
Classic 90s racer in team colors with Campagnolo parts and easy gears.
