Description
Gian Paolo Cucchietti was a former pro-cyclist who started building hand-crafted road bicycles in 1971. The company still produces custom road bicycles in Cuneo, Italy.
This frame is made of light and sturdy Columbus SL tubes and was manufactured by Villata, an expert frame builder from Turin (Italy). That is recongnisable from a little hole underneath the upper head-tube lug, a "signature" you will find on all Villata works.
Re the technical side, this elegant classic bicycle is equipped with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record group set with pantographed brake levers, seatpost and chainring.
This Cucchietti is definitely the perfect bike to participate in L´Eroica: hand-crafted and unique!
