Description
This Schlegel road bicycle is a stunning piece from the late 1950s or early 1960s. It was made in the small workshop of Eugene Schlegel in Zurich, Switzerland. You can easily recognize the typical detailed work of an artisan framebuilder.
The tubes are connected by beautiful Nervex lugs, the popular choice for high class bikes in the 1950s and 1960s. A nice paintwork with beautiful pinstriping completes the picture of a great swiss frame.
Additional extras like the bottle cage or the pump are making this bike even more interesting. But the highlight when it comes to parts is certainly the wonderful Simplex shifting! Not only does it look pretty cool, it also works quite fine.
If you are looking for a very authentic classic bicycle sensation for historical bike rides or your wall - search no more! Here is one of the rarest bikes we had so far.
