Daccordi Griffe Classic Road Bike 1990s

Daccordi is a traditional Italian Bicycle manufacture. They went into business in 1937 and are still building bikes today.
In the humble beginnings the production was mainly everyday vehicles but later they started to invest more energy in sports bikes. And from 1981 on, they entered the market for top notch racing frames with stunning products and designs. Their creations belong to most beautiful and advanced steel bikes of the 1980s and 1990s.
And this Daccordi Griffe is no exception.

The main structure is formed by high-end Columbus SLX tubes. The most popular choice for professional bikes in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Helical inner reinforcements were supposed to strengthen the main tubes whilst keeping them light.
The tubes are held together by special investment cast lugs, of which the front lugs feature a ridged design otherwise well known of 3Rensho bikes.
Luigi Daccordi claimed that the Griffe frames were the finest frames he had ever made.

The componentry consists fully of a top notch Shimano Dura Ace groupset.
