Description
Turin, a very industrial city of Northern Italy, was home of some of the finest frame builders in the 1970s and 1980s. Not only worldwide known brands as Gios Torino, but also rather small artisans who worked outside the spotlight and were renowned among enthusiasts for their fine, tailor-made steel frames.
This Dalpasso Special is exactly one of those top class pieces which left those Torinese ateliers in the 1970s.
The light and sturdy frameset of Columbus SL tubing is masterly lugged into precisely filed lugs, typical for the austere, yet fine torinese tradition. Regarding the components, it is equipped with original Campagnolo Record parts
This bike arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in original condition and underwent a complete check in our workshop. Tires, cables, chain, saddle and bar tape have been replaced to make sure it will deliver the most pleasant rding experience possible. Possibly on the Strade Bianche at the next L'Eroica in Gaiole in Chianti.
An Italian classic bike with racing pedigree. For all riders who love craftsmanship and details.
