Description

De Franceschi is a humble bicycle manufacturer from the municipality of Selvazzano Dentro in Padua, Italy. Run by a small family, De Franceschi may not match the names of De Rosa and Colnago for sporting success, but definitely make up for this with an impeccable skill for hand-crafted bicycles.
Lamberto ‘Nino’ De Franceschi was the man behind these wonderful frames, all of which were built by hand and tailored for local riders. Hence, not many examples can be found outside of Padua. Road and cyclocross bikes were Nino’s forte, and he invested his heart and soul into every product that left his workshop.
And his time trial bicycle is no exception. The frame is made for 28" rear and 26" front wheel, allowing for agressive low-prifile position on the bike. The tubes in the main triangle have been also bent and connected traditionally with lugs with cutout De Franceschi logo.

Another interesting detail are the internally routed cables for front and rear derailleur.

The bike is then equipped with Campagnolo drivetrain and shifting and Modolo brakes.
