Description
Ugo De Rosa – widely known as "The Master" – is one of the best frame builders of all time. Not only did he supply many champions with his high-end bicycles (Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx and Francesco Moser, just to name a few) but also manufactured masterpieces which strongly influenced the cycling industry.
The Professional is one of the best bicycles which left the De Rosa factory in the late 70s and in the 80s. Manufactured with Columbus SL steel tubes, a very light and stiff tubing, the Professional really embodies the perfection and attention to details of the Milanese frame builder. The bike sports the characteristic Diamante chainstays which increase the stiffness of the rear end.
It is fitted with the best components you could get in 1979, a Campagnolo Super Record groupset and some of the parts (stem and the chainring) are also De Rosa pantographed. Completed with Nisi rims fitted with brand new Tufo handmade tyres and Selle Italia wild leather saddle it is ready for your next vintage ride.
A very fine and beautiful De Rosa. A vintage bicycle for true connoisseurs!
