De Rosa Primato EL Road Bike 1990s

Ugo De Rosa is certainly one of the best frame builders of all time. Not only did he supply many champions with his high-end bicycles (Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx and Francesco Moser, just to name a few).

He simply manufactured masterpieces and through them strongly influenced the cycling industry. In his dominant years of the 1970s, his top model was the De Rosa Strada Record the later versions of which are often also referred to as the De Rosa Super Prestige, later followed by the Professional and finally by the De Rosa Primato.
We are happy to be able to present one of these machines to you. This has been refurbished in elegant blue color, which matches the clean design of the bike perfectly.

The De Rosa Primato certainly is one of the great steel bikes. Its core consists of really top notch tube set - Columbus EL. Used by professional riders, this set is strong yet very light at the same time. Primoto uses a custom setup where the tubes in main triangle are slightly oversized and with reinforced lugged bottom bracket shell, which makes it particularly stable and responsive.

Our De Rosa is equipped with Campagnolo parts with 8-speed shifting operated by Ergopower levers on the handlebars. It is equipped almost completely with Record nad C-Record parts with an exemption of Chorus cranks and levers.

This De Rosa has a classic looks and an elegance, but don't be fooled. Underneath it's a true racing machine which can rocket you wherever you send it. Completely checked in our workshop, you can just try it for yourself.
