Description
Ugo De Rosa is certainly one of the best frame builders of all time. Not only he supplied many champions with his high-end bicycles (Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx and Francesco Moser, just to name a few) but also manufactured masterpieces which strongly influenced the cycling industry, just as the De Rosa Professional from the early 1980s.
The Professional is without doubt one of the most legendary racing bike models of the 1970s and 1980s. Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, it was a perfect companion for many cyclists on their road to victory. Very distinctive are the beautifully shaped 'Diamante' chain stays, one of De Rosa's signature signs.
This exemplar was made in 1984. The lovely blue paintjob is topped off with typical 1980s 'sports era' decals. Of course, it is equipped with a top-class Campagnolo Super Record groupset: just the best of everything!
A unique bicycle with a great appeal and value! For true connoisseurs.
