Description
De Rosa Professional 1986 classic road bicycle. Ugo De Rosa is certainly one of the best frame builders of all time and supplied many champions with his high-end bicycles: Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx and Francesco Moser, just to name a few.
The Professional was one of the most outstanding bicycles of the 1980s. This model dates back to 1986 and is made of Columbus SLX steel tubes. Released in the 1970s for racing, the SLX tubing is very light and stiff thanks to inner reinforcements, down tube butted section and lighter chain stays.
The original paint is in excellent condition and there are not many exemplars out there as well preserved as this one.Such a special bicycle could not be equipped with anything less than the best of its time: a first generation Campagnolo C-Record groupset with extremely rare Campagnolo Cobalto brakes!
The bicycle is furthermore very lightweight: just 9,75 kilograms (pedals included)!
