Description
Ugo De Rosa is certainly one of the most influential frame builder of the 1970s and 1980s. He supplied many champions with his high-end bicycles like Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx, Francesco Moser and many more. Ugo also manufactured masterpieces which strongly influenced the cycling industry, just as the De Rosa Professional.
The Professional is one of the legendary racing bike models. Made of Columbus SL and later SLX steel tubes, it was a perfect companion for many cyclists on their road to victory. Very distinctive are the beautifully shaped 'Diamante' chain stays, one of De Rosa's signature signs.
Our exemplar was made around 1983 and it received an elegant silver paintjob with blue and green accents. To rise the exclusivity of this already iconic frame, the rare and ridiculously expensive Campagnolo 50th anniversary groupset was chosen.
There is really nothing to spoil the show in this magnificent bike. The original paint is in great shape, parts are in good condition too. The silver Nisi Laser rims matches the paint perfectly and there is the De Rosa pantograped stem as well.
And on top it comes with a refurbished set of Almarc leather covers on both, saddle and handlebar.
This bike has been carefully checked by our mechanics and is ready to ride!
