Description
Eddy Merckx, Francesco Moser, Gianni Motta and Moreno Argentin are some of the countless champions which rode Ugo De Rosa frames to epic victories. And it is no coincidence that, in the 1974 Giro d'Italia, roughly 80% of all riders of the peloton chose Mr. De Rosa frames. Widely considered "The Master" Ugo De Rosa manufactured masterpieces which strongly influenced the cycling industry, just as the De Rosa Professional
The De Rosa Professional is one of the best bicycles which left the De Rosa factory in the 1980s. Manufactured with Columbus steel tubes, a very light and stiff tubing, often with inner reinforcements, butted sections and reinforced chain stays, the Professional really embodies the perfection and attention to details of the Milanese frame builder.
The chain stays are formed to a rhombic diameter, this typical shape was called 'Diamante' by De Rosa and can be found on most of his high-end frames. Our De Rosa Professional has seen a paint refurbishment by the previous owner and has been thoroughly checked in our workshop. The Campagnolo Super groupset details has been fully inspected and adjusted, which means that this bike is ready to be ridden.
Suitable for all Eroica events worldwide. Italian heritage at its finest.
