Description
Ugo De Rosa – widely known as "The Master" – is one of the best frame builders of all time. Not only did he supply many champions with his high-end bicycles (Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx and Francesco Moser, just to name a few) but also manufactured masterpieces which strongly influenced the cycling industry.
The Strada Record is undoubtedly the top model in the 1970s De Rosa catalogue.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes (a light, butted and particularly stiff tubing), this model illustrates the typical attention to detail of Ugo De Rosa's work, with long lugs and an austere design, with just a few elegant engravings and cutouts to alter the general impression
Fitted with the best components you could get in 1972, a complete Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, this De Rosa Record Strada has been fully serviced in our workshop: ready to ride!
A rare early De Rosa. A vintage bicycle for true connoisseurs!
