Description
Ugo De Rosa – widely known as "The Master" – is one of the best frame builders of all time. Not only did he supply many champions with his high-end bicycles (Gianni Motta, Eddy Merckx and Francesco Moser, just to name a few) but also manufactured masterpieces which strongly influenced the cycling industry.
The Strada Record is undoubtedly the top model in the 1970s De Rosa catalogue. Made of Columbus SL steel tubes (a light, butted yet stiff tubing), this model illustrates the typical attention to details of Mr De Rosa works, with lugs which have been nicely filed and are refined by beautiful cutouts and engravings. Just as the seat stay caps and fork crown of this 1975 model show!
Fitted with a complete Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, this De Rosa Record Strada has been fully serviced in our workshop: ready to ride! The bike shows a typical setup including a Cinelli cockpit and Saddle.
A gorgeous 1970s De Rosa. A vintage bicycle for true connoisseurs!
