Description
ddy Merckx, Francesco Moser, Gianni Motta and Moreno Argentin are some of the countless champions which rode Ugo De Rosa frames to epic victories. And it is no coincidence that, in the 1974 Giro d'Italia, roughly 80% of all riders of the peloton chose Mr. De Rosa frames. Widely considered "The Master" Ugo De Rosa manufactured masterpieces which strongly influenced the cycling industry. One of the top models of the 80s and in fact early 90s was the Professional SLX. Made of the top of the line Columbus SLX steel tubes, it features all the typical details for high class De Rosas like heart-shaped pantographes, clean short lugs and the beautiful sloping fork crown. The fork itself is fully chromed just as the right chain stay, preventing the chain from scratching the paint.
This particular De Rosa is fitted with the best parts of the time - Campagno Super Record gruppo which is furthermore in very nice condition. The bright yellow paintjob on the frame finds nice contrast in the black Cinelli stem and dark anodized Mavic rims. As you can see, this bike has everything you could wish for, but since has been thoroughly serviced by our mechanics and when needed wearing parts were changed for brand new ones, this bike is ready for a ride too and it won't let you down.
