Description
In the late 1980s and early 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bike frames and therefore the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well made triangle of light and rigid Columbus SLX tubing. Those were "superbutted" tubesets from Cyclex steel, designed for professional use and famous for their helical reinforcements on the inside.
This Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra is a bit more special for the reason that it is a limited edition frame, made for the 10th anniversary of Eddy Merckx bicycles. The frame was consequently equipped with Campagnolo's best parts which at the time - the legendary C-Record groupset and the iconic Croced'Aune Delta brakes! Worth mentioning are also the mavic GP4 rims with Pevani Corsa tubulars both in excellent condition.
The bike has been checked in our workshop and is ready to go.
