Description
In the late 1980s and early 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bike frames and therefore the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well made triangle of light and rigid Columbus SLX or TSX tubes. Those were "superbutted" tubesets from Cyclex steel, designed for professional use famous for their helical reinforcements on the inside.
This Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra dates back to 1990 and is a bit more special for the reason that it is a limited edition for the 10th anniversary of Eddy Merckx bicycles. The frame was consequently equipped with Campagnolo's best parts of their Record groupset, including the iconic Delta brakes! The wheelset on our bike has even seen an upgrade to the legendary Shamal wheels. Finest Bike jewellery!
