Description

In the 1990s, the Eddy Merckx manufacture was starting to build frames with tubing which was specifically shaped for them by Columbus.
One of those tubesets were the customized Columbus Neuron tubes which were used for the Arcobaleno (named after the rainbow jersey) model.
The Eddy Merckx Arcobaleno was made of these ovalized Neuron tubes which, especially in later versions, were connected using fillet brazing and bi-laminating techniques.
The smooth joints together with a hidden seat post clamping gave the bike a terifically elegant look.
On the technical side it knew how to convince, too: The pro team GAN was famously riding Arcobaleno frames for some time.

We are happy to be able to present to you one of the late and extra smooth models. On top, our Arcobelano is in excellent condition and is equipped with a full Campagnolo groupset.

The sheer quality of the frame and the setup make our Eddy Merckx a perfect companion for sportive riding and commuting alike.

An impressive road bike with many many years of live left in it.
