Description

Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy with long wheelbases, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.

Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.

This Colnago Super dates approximately to 1978. The components are all Campagnolo Super Record, the top level racing components of the time. The very fine components are to be found all aver the bike. From 3ttt cockpit, Larcia NOS saddle or the Mavic rims in mint condition.

What's more, some parts have been precisely pantographed, elevating this sweet small sized bike to even higher level.

The frame is then refurbished in Eddy Merckx Molteni team colors, a reminescence of the special edition of Eddy Meckx edition Colnago made back in the days.

This Colnago Super is a great choice for vintage bike fans. Suitable for classic cycling events.
