Description
In the late 1980s and early 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bike frames and therefore the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well made triangle of light and rigid Columbus SLX tubes. The SLX was a "superbutted" tubeset from Cyclex steel, designed for professional use famous for its helical reinforcements on the end of the tubes.
Our Eddy Merckx dates back to the late 1990s and was already exclusively built with the use of Ergo brake-shifting levers in mind. This small red pony is a robust and excellent racing bike which is good for all kinds of use. It can cope with commuting as well as with fast group rides on weekends.
The bike has been outfitted with fine parts which are essentially formed by an Athena groupset
The bikcycle has been checked in our workshop and is ready to go.
