Description

After retiring from competition, the great Champion Eddy Merckx started setting up a bicycle manufacture.
Since he wanted to build the best road bikes possible, he managed to engage one of the best frame builders of all time to help him with designing the frames and teaching other frame builders.
Eddy Merckx bikes started into the 1980s with the Professional, which was then superseded by the Corsa Extra. The Eddy Merckx Corsa was one of the models of the late 1980s Eddy Merckx brand. When the Corsa Extra was introduced with its internal cable routing, the Corsa still showed braze-ons on the top tube, preserving a more classic style.

The original paintwork and decals cover a frame that has been made from fine lugs and Columbus tubing.
Regarding the technical side, this classic bicycle is kept very simple. The frame is completed by a full Campagnolo Chorus groupset of the first generation. One of the aesthetically most appealing groupsets Campagnolo produced.
Wether you are a vintage bikes enthusiast, an Eddy Merckx fan or simply love stunning bicycles, here is a chance to get hold of a bike of this legendary brand. Eroica is the perfect playground for this cherry-red fellow!
