Description
From the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bicycles you could get and also the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well-made triangle of light and stiff Columbus SLX tubes ("superbutted" tubeset from Cyclex steel, designed for professional use with helical inner reinforcements on the end of the tubes).
This exemplar perfectly illustrates the maqgic of such racing machines. Still in original, unrefurbished condition, this Columbus SLX frame is fully equipped with a Campagnolo C-Record groupset with iconic Delta brakes and 3ttt components.
The bicycle has been fully serviced in our workshop by preserving the original components, thus it is ready to be ridden! The perfect choice for high-demanding riders who do not want to renounce a classic steel frame.
