Description
In the late 1980s and early 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bike frames and therefore the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well made triangle of light and rigid Columbus SLX tubes. The SLX was a "superbutted" tubeset from Cyclex steel, designed for professional use famous for its helical reinforcements on the end of the tubes.
Our Eddy Merckx dates back to the 1990s and shows the rather rare airbrush paintjob of the late versions.
Our bike has been outfitted with great parts which are formed by a Campagnolo Chorus groupset.
The bike has been checked in our workshop and is ready to go.
Iconic. Perfect for daily rides, weekend tours and 90s nostalgia.
