Description
In the late 1980s and early 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bike frames and therefore the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well made triangle of light and rigid Columbus SLX tubes. The SLX was a "superbutted" tubeset from Cyclex steel, designed for professional use famous for its helical reinforcements on the end of the tubes.
Our Eddy Merckx dates back to the 1980s and shows a beautiful Team Hitachi paintjob. The paint is not the only highlight. Our Eddy Merckx also comes in a very large size, too.
The bike has been outfitted with great parts formed by a Campagnolo Victory groupset and a top class wheelset with Campagnolo Omega rims.
The bike has been checked in our workshop and is ready to go.
Perfect for daily rides, weekend tours and nostalgia.
