Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra Team Panasonic Bicycle 1985

Team Panasonic was formed in 1984, a Dutch professional racing team with the reputation of always having the best equipment. So it is no surprise that they used Eddy Merckx bicycles in the mid 1980s, for these were the best bicycles being built at the time, and the Corsa Extra was the choice frame.

The Corsa Extra is made of light and rigid Columbus SLX tubes,a "superbutted" tubeset from Cyclex steel, designed for professional use and famous for their internal helical reinforcements on the end of the tubes.

Our Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra looks stunning with an original Team Panasonic paint scheme, still shining, and fitted with a complete Campagnolo Chorus groupset in great condition. The frame number suggests this bike was built in 1985.

The bicycle has been thoroughly checked in our workshop and is in perfect working condition. Ready to be ridden once more!
