Description
In the late 1980s and early 1990s the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was one of the best road bicycles you could get and also the choice of many professional teams. It dominated the peloton with its extremely well made triangle of light and stiff Columbus SLX tubes ("superbutted" tubeset from Cyclex steel, designed for professional use with helical reinforcements on the end of the tubes).
The Team USA edition appeared on Eddy Merckx Catalog in 1993 and is nowadays really hard to find, especially with original components. According to the serial number engraved underneath the BB shell, this model dates back to 1993. Not only it is in original and impeccable condition, but also equipped with all its original parts, as:

- Flite Titanium saddle
- Continental Gran Prix tires
