Eddy Merckx road bikes were very present in the Peloton during the last decade of steel frame dominance, namely from the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s. This was, simply spoken, because they were absolutely superb bicycles. Designed with the most demanding echelons of road racers in mind, Eddy Merckx' brand was the choice of a vast number of professional teams and their bikes were crafted with the necessary attention to detail and expertise of master frame builders.

Our bright and fine bicycle is an example of this quality, a custom Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra bicycle from the mid 1990s The most distinctive feature of this fine bicycle might be the bright and pearly pink paint, a rich coat on the Columbus TSX tubing. TSX was basically a further developed SLX tubing with helical reinforcements that went all the way through the inner side of downtube and top tube.

The bike has been equipped with high end Campagnolo Record parts in good condition, which esure great performance.
