Description
The Eddy Merckx Professional was undoubtedly the top model of the early Eddy Merckx range, and this classic 1980s bicycle complete with Campagnolo Super Record components is a prime example of a 'the bike that lives up to its name'.
When Eddy Merckx left professional cycling to work with the legendary Ugo de Rosa to build his early frames, his aim was to build the best road bicycles possible. Their combined, intimate knowledge of racing, frames and steel resulted in a superb range of Bicycles that retained their prestige, value and beauty over time.
Here we see an example of that Merckx quality!
The frame has been refurbished and received a deep blue paintjob. The for is fully chromed and it features the Merckx sloping crown. As for the components, you will find Campagnolo Nuovo and Super Record parts and other high class parts like Cinelli cockpit, nice Rolls saddle or Mavic GP4 rims.
The iconic model with great parts and a very elegant appearance.
