Description
The Eddy Merckx Professional was the top model of the early Eddy Merckx brand. It was 'the bike that lives up to its name'.
After retiring from competitions, the great Champion Eddy Merckx started setting up a bicycle manufacture. Since he wanted to build the best road bikes possible, he managed to engage one of the best frame builders of all time to help him with designing the frames and teaching other frame builders. And as it happened Ugo de Rosa - The Master designed the first frames of the Eddy Merckx Professional and helped Eddy in the first business years.
Eddy Merckx Professionals from the 1980s appeal to collectors from all around the globe due to their perfection and their pedigree.
Regarding the technical side, this classic bicycle is kept very simple. The high class tubing is completed by a Campagnolo Victory groupset.
Whether you are a vintage bikes enthusiast, an Eddy Merckx fan or simply love stunning bicycles, here is a chance to a legendary road bike model!
