Description
Edi Strobl is a small German bike brand from Brunnthal, Bavaria. It manufactured in the 1970s-1980s a very limited amount of high-quality bicycles, which are nowadays rather hard to find on the market, indeed.
The frame is made of Columbus steel tubes, the favoured material for most top class bikes of this time. It was made to suit two sportive riders, a gentleman and a lady. The frame-hight for the captain (front) is 56cm, for the stoker (back) it is 48. The semi-mixte frame construction stabilizes the frame whilst still allowing the stoker to ride without a high top tube.
Regarding the components, this classic bicycle is equipped with some fine parts. It is mostly Shimano 600 with the exception of the cranks, which are Gipiemme and the wheels which are new.
The beautiful classy design, inspired by the traditional Italian racing tandem, and the performance of these parts are forming a real sportster, worthy to be shown and ridden on any classic cycling event or weekend ride.
High-quality parts and a handmade frame: a classic bicycle with no compromises!
For options of shipping this tandem, please ask our staff. We are very happy to sell it to somebody who can pick it up.
