Description
German in name and quality, Enik started producing bicycle in the 1930s in the western region of Westfalia. By the 1980s, the company offered a full range of bikes, from affordable entry-level racers to absolute top class lightweights. The models of their road range were named after famous mountain passes, with Tourmalet and Galibier being the both top models.
Though Enik was famous for enabling every frame builder to mark their frames with their own sign, many of the better bikes were later produced in Italy by Romani.
This 1987 Enik Galibier arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in very good original condition. The lugged Columbus SLX steel frame is fully equipped with top notch Shimano Dura Ace parts throughout, including the rare pedals.
Being Enik's top model at that time you can see the quality and attention in every detail. The fading paintjob (which Enik called 'Inferno') is a nice contrast to the chromed lugs and stays.
Fully checked in our workshop, the bike is ready to ride and our mechanics made sure it will assure unforgettable riding experiences. At the next Eroica maybe? This Enik is approved to take parts in all Eroica events worldwide.
A vintage all-rounder without compromises!
