Description
From the factory to the starting line and vice-versa. This what has always distinguished the brand, established by legendary Francesco Moser in the 1970s. The know-how learnt in professional racing helped the former Italian cyclist and his brothers to produce some of the finest racing bicycles of their time.
The Leader AX was the top model of Francesco Moser brand in the 80s and 90s. The frame became iconic for the smooth transitions of tubes and off course the prolongated seat tube for internally clamped seat post. The fillet silver brazed joints form a more beautiful and stiffer frame than TIG welds or lugs, yet they still sustain that subtle cushioning which you would expect from a steel frame.
The top notch frame deserves adequate components and that is what our Leader AX gets. The 7700 series Shimano Dura-Ace could be the prettiest groupset this Japanese company has ever made. And it is equally advanced on the technical side as it is good looking. It was the first 9-speed groupset and as a pure racing equipment it was exceptionally light. In our case it is completed with Wolber rims and 3ttt cockpit.
Thoroughly checked and ready to be ridden!
