Description

From the factory to the starting line and vice-versa. This what has always distinguished the brand, established by legendary Francesco Moser in the 1970s. The know-how learnt in professional racing helped the former Italian cyclist and his brothers to produce some of the finest racing bicycles of their time.

The Leader TK1 was the top model of Francesco Moser brand which left the Italian factory in the 1990s. Already known back in those days for being an authentic racing machine, the TK1 offered feathery light yet stable frame for competitions. The fillet brazed frame is actually made of very light Dedacciai 18MCDV6 H.T. (heat treated) steel tubes, one of the lightest and best tubing sets in the 1990s. The fillet silver brazed joints form a more beautiful and stiffer frame than TIG welds or lugs, yet they still sustain that subtle cushioning which you would expect from a steel frame.
And off course, the trademark feature of a F.Moser 90s top level frame is not missing - a prolongated seatpost with an internally clamped seatpost.

The top notch frame deserves adequate components and that is what our TK1 gets. Mounted is Campagnolo Chorus 9-speed groupset with Daytona Ergopower shifters on the bars. This setup ensures a performance which is competitive with modern parts yet still looking distinctively classic.

This really is a full blooded racer. With a lightweight frame with tight clearances and performance parts, this bike belong on the road.

Thoroughly checked and ready to be ridden!
