Description

Road bicycles and coffee have gone hand by hand ever since especially if both come from the Italian peninsula, worldwide known for its strong cycling and roasting tradition. The Faema Team perfectly embodies this magic duo and reached its peak of popularity in late 1960s and early 1970s, when Eddy Meckx, was wearing the iconic red and white jersey and collecting the most coveted trophies in the sport. At the time, Faema bikes were provided by the best frame builders like Masi, Galmozzi or Giuseppe Pelà.

And it appears, that it was the latter one, who has built the frame of our Feama team bike replica. You fill find the finesse of the engraved fork crown, so typical of Pelà's work. The frame itself is beautifully made with classic short lugs and long Campagnolo dropouts. One detail is mysterious though. The bottom bracket shell has 9 centric drilled holes, not dissimilar to those found on frames made by another team Faema supplier - Angelo Galmozzi.

Regarding the components, this Faema replica is equipped with a top-class Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, Ideale saddle and a 3ttt cockpit.

This stunning bicycle is a perfect opportunity for Eddy Merckx fans as well as for all classic cycling enthusiasts.
Checked in our workshop in Berlin, it is ready to ride straight away.
