Faliero Masi Gran Criterium Vintage Bicycle 1970s

Since 1952 the Masi Atelier - located at the famous Velodromo Vigorelli in Milan - has manufactured some of the finest road bicycles which has been appealing collectors worldwide ever since.
Launched in 1970, the Gran Criterium is certainly one of the best bicycles manufactured by the Milanese frame builder. Although they have never disclosed which tubes he used to build their frames, the Gran Criterium was likely built with Columbus SL tubes and rarely of Reynolds 531 tubes.
This Masi Gran Criterium dates back to the 1970s and is one of those exemplars built by Faliero Masi (father of Alberto Masi) and is in very good condition. The frame has been professionally restored and repainted with appropriate paintwork and decals. Equipped with appropriate era parts, such as a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, FIR Sirius tubular rims and a suede NOS (new old stock) Selle Italia Superleggera saddle.
