Fausto Coppi Classic Road Bike by Fiorelli 1960s

Classic Fiorelli racing bicycles really appeal to many collectors worldwide. Founded in 1932 in Novi Ligure (Liguria region, Italy) by three brothers, the brand sponsored several teams and riders and was very successful. Many famous champions rode Fiorelli bikes. Among them Schotte, Kubler, Koblet, Gaul, Motta and Ole Ritter who broke the world hour record on a Fiorelli frame in 1968.

In the late 1950s, Fausto Coppi wanted to begin producing his own classic Italian racing bicycles. And as it happened, he made a deal with Fiorelli for the manufacture of bicycles named after himself. These vintage bicycles were very similar to Fiorelli's own designs, apart from the finish and branding. When Fausto Coppi passed away of malaria in 1960 the contract was still valid and the production of Fausto Coppi branded bicycles continued.

Our Coppi road bicycle by Fiorelli appears stems from the 1960s and has been refurbished by the previous owner. It has the distinctive Fiorelli fork crown with Coppi caps. The paint is new in the original shade. The groupset consists mostly of the then new Campagnolo Record groupset which secures a great performance.
